Narcosis

In a narrow circle we may use narcosis during the treatment. The DENTUS-The Dentist was the first among the dental clinics in the XII. district of Budapest that became licensed for this activity. The method is checked and approved according to the protocol of ÁNTSZ (National Public Health and Medical Officer Service). The narcosis takes place assisted by an anaesthesiologist, after the analysis of the dental health status, at a scheduled appointment by which we attain the conscious sedation with intravenous drug dosage. The patient is able to communicate during the whole treatment, but the incidental reactions and pains are evitable, the treatment can be done. According to our experience of decades, we can safely say that the most cases when patients think that their situation is hard, and they imagine the therapy in narcosis, the treatment can be successful with a little bit of patience, care and empathy. Only by the technically difficult interventions –mostly oral surgery-is there a need for conscious sedation.
