The very first meeting has an utmost importance in dentist-patient relationship, so we handle it accordingly.
Apart from special cases, this first meeting is a simple consultation, where no serious treatment takes place,-at most a friendly depuration or calculus removal -, so you may sit in without any excitement in the dentist’s stool. After filling out our questionnaire about your present status of health (case history sheet), you are welcome to share any complaints, notions or expectations with us. A dentist and our dental hygienist prepare a full dental status analysis. Every occasion includes painless oral carcinoma screening and periodontal examination. If needed we take digital X-ray photographs to complete the oral examination. At our clinic we provide panoramic radiograph, photograph of the joints, or miniature photograph of a single tooth. Then we give a detailed explaination of your diagnosis, and delineate the possibilities of a treatment. Using all the collected data from diagnosis, we set up a personalised treatment plan, which also contains prices of the planned procedures. In the course of the consultation, you may decide - in accordance with your notions and financial situation - which medically approved steps you wish to take from the possible treatment sequences planned on the basis of your dental status. We send you the complete documentation via e-mail, to give you more time for concideration. We kindly ask you to bring along your recent X-rays and a list of medicines you take to help our work and also think over your entire medical history. Remember to inform our doctors of anything you think might impact the treatments (diabetes, prosthetic valve, prosthesis etc.) or, if you regularly take medicine (heart medicine, anticoagulant, bone rarefaction medicine).
