In case you are interested we are happy to introduce the interesting elements of our equipment.
At DENTUS we use the products of one of the best-known german producer, KaVo. As we experienced, these chairs are reliable in the long run, they are functional and ‘ergonomic’ to support the work of doctor and assistant. The so-called garage version covers the unpleasant sight of the different drills.
For the making of the X-ray photographs which are of utmost importance to or work, we use digital equipment. With the intraoral X-rays of the GENDEX company, we take miniature photographs of a single tooth, while with the help of the Orthopantomograph we take panorama, bite and joint photographs. Besides its important advantage of using significantly less radiations than the traditional film technology, the immediate analysis of the photograph (or to retake them from different angles) is immediately possible. The special photographs taken by the special software undergo different analyses, which help us to set up the diagnosis faster. The photographs are stored on computer and they are easy to search, which speeds up the treatment as well.
To reach the highest possible precision in our work, we use enlargement by preparation of the teeth (drilling, scaling). It is helped by the ceiling operation light which provides shadow less light and reproduces natural light, which is highly important for finding the right tooth colour. In case the operations light are not enough, the magnifying glass and LED lights on the dentist’s glass help precision.
In today’s dental interventions the conservative treatments are primary. This is the aim of the root canal therapy, which no longer has to be painful. Its success can only be reached, if we change the basics of the intervention. In our clinic we use an instrument of the outstanding Japanese company, Morita. This tool electronically measures the working length of the root canal; expands it with its automatic engine as long as it experiences pinching according to the torque, or as long as -corresponding to the previously set numbers - detects the right length with 0.1 mm accuracy. It shows the advancement inside the tooth on a graphic screen to the doctor.
