We call the surgical removal of the root apex resection. During this we first make a small incision around the tip of the root, through which we remove the tip and the inflamed area the cyst. By this we avoid having to remove the unmanageable tooth and prevent it from further inflammations. The symptoms of focal infections can also disappear after the treatment. The operation lasts around 20 minutes and is painless.
At our clinic we welcome patients sent to us by other colleagues for a dentoalveolar operation, implantation, or a simple panoramic X-ray. Of course after technical consultation and the intervention they continue the treatment with their own dentist.
